10 Minute One Pot Pasta
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Safeway, Inc. for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Occasionally, I get to do some kid free grocery shopping. If you are a mom and have ever done this, then you know how exhilarating that can be. Every time I walk into a store alone, I wander around for a while. Normally with the kids in tow, I push the cart through the store at blazing speed hitting the well known aisles to pick up our staples. But when I have time, I wander through every aisle discovering new items. Safeway is one of my favorite places to do that. Sure, they have all of the items you need on your grocery list, but they also offer a great assortment of new items at great prices. When you discover what's new at Safeway, you'll come up with all kinds of meal inspiration. I was inspired to make this 10 Minute One Pot Spaghetti and it could not be an easier way to feed a hungry family.
This Barilla® Pronto™ Spaghetti I found has a NEW tag so it was easy to spot. I love Barilla® Pronto™ pasta because it makes dinner prep a breeze. You can cook your entire meal in one pan in minutes. No wasting time waiting for the water to boil, draining the pasta, or cleaning a ton of pots and pans. The best part is that the pasta comes out perfectly al dente every time!
You simply place the pasta and water in a large pan or pot,
Add your veggies, and bring to a boil.
After 10 minutes the water has been absorbed and the pasta is cooked.
All that is left to do is add your sauce and heat.
It's as easy as that, and dinner for the entire family is served. This is a great vegetarian meal and meatless option.
I found another new product at Safeway that my family has been flipping over. My kids love lemonade but I don't often have the time to squeeze the lemons and make them some. This COUNTRY TIME LEMONADE STARTER drink mix is flavored with real lemon juice and goes great with the One Pot Pasta. It couldn't be easier to make either.
Just combine 1 1/2 tablespoons of the COUNTRY TIME LEMONADE STARTER drink mix, in a glass and add 8 oz of cold water. Mix and enjoy that classic lemonade flavor. You can make an entire pitcher or just a glass, it's up to you.

When I shop at Safeway, I know I am going to get great products (many that I can't find elsewhere) at affordable prices. My local Safeway has a gas rewards program, so every dollar I spend helps me earn gasoline discounts. Not that I need an excuse to shop there. When I picked up the pasta and other ingredients for my dinner, I was delighted to stop at get a cup of coffee at the Safeway cafe. As I roamed the store, the fresh produce was calling my name as was the scent of the freshly baked bread at the bakery. Next time you are at Safeway, keep your eyes peeled for the NEW tag to discover new items at great values.
