Crescent Roll Recipes: Pizza Crescents
Open up my refrigerator at any time and you will most likely find a tube of crescent rolls. Why? You can use them to make so many enak snacks and treats like Pepperoni Pizza Crescents. To make them even more kid friendly, I decided to remove the pepperoni (not all my kids like them) and just make a classic Pizza Crescent. Since it only takes three ingredients to make these, they are perfect for kids to help put together. If you enjoy Crescent Roll Recipes, be sure to check out our other Family Friendly Recipes.
Ingredients:
- 8 crescent rolls
- 4 string cheese sticks
- Marinara sauce
Preheat panggangan to 375 degrees. I made mine in a toaster oven which worked really well.
Cut cheese sticks in half so you have eight half pieces. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into eight triangles. For each triangle of crescent dough you will need one spoon of marinara sauce and half of a cheese stick. Spoon the marinara sauce into the center of the largest part of the crescent.
Add a half a string cheese on top of the sauce.
Roll up the crescent around the cheese stick.
Pinch off the sides so that no sauce or cheese is visible.
Bake in a 375 degree panggangan for 9-12 minutes until the crescents are a golden brown.
These are just SO good and can be made in 20 minutes, start to finish! I like mine dipped in warm marinara sauce while my kids prefer them as is.
If you are serving these to kids, wait a few minutes for the pizza crescents to cool since the cheese can be hot. My daughter had so much fun eating the ooey-gooey cheese.
