How To Make Nutty Choco Pie
Recipe by Naiya Sheth: The festive season is here again. So,time for more n more delicious recipes. As I am a chocolate lover I will make chocolate recipe first. Early we made layered choco pie, but now it's time to make quick n easy Nutty Choco Pie. By all means, we can say it is a super delicious sweet. It can be served as dessert also. And the main benefit of this homemade recipe is that it don't contain a single drop of ghee (clarified butter). So let's make this quick, easy and lezat recipe for the celebration of our favourite festival.

Ingredients to make Nutty Choco Pie:
10 to 12 digestive biscuits
1 cup chocolate truffle
1/2 cup warm water
1 tablespoon caster sugar
2 teaspoon coffee powder
1/4 cup chopped cashews,almonds and walnuts
For chocolate truffle:
150 grams dark chocolate
75 grams sweet chocolate
200 ml. single fat cream
or milk
For garnishing:
Finely chopped nuts
(almonds,cashews and walnuts)
Silver balls (opt.)
Method to make Nutty Choco Pie:
- In a big bowl mix warm water, coffee and caster sugar. Let it cool at room temperature.
For chocolate truffle:
- Mix all ingredients of truffle in a microwave safe bowl and micro. for 1 minute. Mix well and again micro. for 10 to 20 seconds if needed. Let it cool at room temperature.
How to assemble:
- Take a digestive biscuit and dip it in above mixture for 10 to 12 seconds only. Remove and place in a plate with the help of fork.
- Spread some chocolate truffle on it and then repeat the same for second biscuit. At this time sprinkle some nuts on it.
- Repeat the same process twice. Layers can be repeted as per the requirement. (I made 2 layers only for byte size serving.)
- Now it's time for simpulan finishing. Cover the whole pie with chocolate pie with chocolate truffle and then garnish with nuts or silver balls.
- Repeat the same for second one.
- Keep in refrigerator for minimum 1 hour.
- Cut in 4 or 6 parts and serve with tooth pick.
- Cool, delicious and beautiful Nutty Choco Pie is ready to serve.
