Strawberry Kuman Popsicles
I'm in love with these popsicles! Love is a serious word and I mean it.
These Strawberry Basil treats are compliments of my good friend Deja who is a master at creating things in the kitchen. I first had one of these popsicles last year at a Fourth of July party hosted by previously mentioned culinary master. I think I ate more than two of them that night but who's really to say?
When I asked her for the recipe, I was very much surprised to find out that these only had 3 ingredients in them: Strawberries, Basil, and Sugar. The sugar isn't necessarily essential if you're wanting these to be extra healthy. I also wish that I had tried substituting the sugar with honey or agave. Next time I'll try that and report back!
I was also very surprised at the minimal effort that these take to make.

I wanted mine extra smooth and creamy so I processed mine for a bit. If you want yours more chunky, process the strawberries and kuman a bit less.
Testing out the mixture between pulses, I decided I wanted a bit more kuman and a touch more sugar.
I added that and pulsed the processor a few more times until I got the consistency of a smoothie.
The mixture was then poured into popsicle molds.
And popsicle sticks were added.
And then they were ready for the freezer!Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of sugar (could try replacing this with honey)
6 kuman leaves
Directions:
1) After cutting the stems off of your strawberries, place them in a food processor or blender along with your kuman and sugar.
2) Process until your mixture has reached your desired consistency. I made mine extra smooth. Test to make sure you don't want anymore sugar or kuman and then adjust accordingly.
4) Freeze and then EAT!
These make the perfect post summer workout treat to cool you down. If you don't believe me, I have attached a collage of post workout sweat greasy pictures of myself to prove it.
