How To Make Chatpati Crispies
Recipe by Naiya Sheth: Now it's time for the mouthwatering anytime snack. Just assemble and serve or eat. Today I made normal crispies - a kind of farsi puri with a triangular shape. It is topped with rich curd dip, some vegetables and lots of farsan - dry snacks. In short, it's a mouthwatering snack with very fewer efforts. So try this super delicious home made chatpati crispies today.

Ingredients to make Chatpati Crispies:
For crispies:
1 cup refined flour
2 tablespoon sooji - semolina
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon ghee - clarified butter
2 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
Oil for spreading
Dry flour for dusting
Oil for frying
For dip:
1 cup hung curd
2 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoon cheese spread
1 1/2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
1 teaspoon red chilli sauce
Salt to taste
For toppings:
Finely chopped cucumber
Pomegranate seeds
Finely chopped capsicum
masala bundi
Fried chana dal
Sev
Method to make Chatpati Crispies:
For Crispies:
- Mix all ingredients of crispies and make stiff dough from it.
- Keep aside covered for minimum 10 minutes.
- Make equal balls from it and roll small puries from it.
- Now make triangular crispies as shown in the image. Make sure to spread a little amount of oil and dry flour between 2 layers. (to avoid this just make big puri and cut like nachos.)
- Prick them and fry in hot oil at very slow flame until crisp.
- Let it cool and then store in air tight container.
For dip:
- Mix all ingredients of dip and keep aside.
How to assemble:
- Place crispies in serving plate and then spread dip over it.
- Top some chopped cucumber,capsicum and pomegranate over it.
- Now top with masala bundi, fried chana cal and at last sev over it to cover.
- Can be garnished with coriander also.
- Super delicious Chatpati Crispies are ready to serve.
