| Slow Living Inspiration |
Kinfolk Home, non a take in to Brooklyn,
nor anything gleaned from the internet.
I know dull living
from living dull for years before
I was this plugged-in,
from sweeping our floors inwards silence,
from meditating too contemplating,
from dull days out inwards nature, and
from countless calm hours spent reading.
While dull living for many brings to mind
manus thrown pottery, wabi sabi, zen,
spare interiors, naturally rustic style,
too perchance fifty-fifty hipster 30-somethings...
non too thus fast.
Slow living, for me,
is non a trendy movement.
It is living abundantly
with less
and savoring it more.
It's the path less taken,
and the scenic road at that.
Slow living is lovely living,
and I necessitate to a greater extent than of it...
maybe it's calling you lot too.
Let's glide gently into today's inspiration
and survive led into a quieter realm where
senses are hushed too souls are awakened.
